Whenever our annual meeting and education forum is hosted in Washington, D.C. we are introduced to people and information rarely accessible. Expect some very interesting presentations, some providing in detail, the transfer of power that occurred in 2009. Visit the Speakers and Agenda page for further details.
What to Expect from an Education Forum?
Registration
General registration is open. To register using Cvent, please click on this link and select the "register" button. We are also pleased to announce that the first 100 people to register for the full Forum will receive a copy of Crane's Blue Book of Stationery: The Styles and Etiquette of Letters, Notes and Invitations by Pamela Eyring and Robert Hickey.

Cost
Forum Registration Fee:
The Forum Registration Fee includes materials, receptions, transportation to all Forum events, and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
USD $525 Members
USD $775 Non-member (government sector)
USD $925 Non-member (corporate sector)
Optional Protocol Training Workshops:
Free For Members attending the Education Forum
USD $50: Non-members attending the Forum
USD $150:
anyone not attending the Forum, who wants to only attend the training workshops.
Guests:
Forum participants may bring a guest with them to all meals and receptions for an additional fee. Please note that guests will be responsible for their own transportation to offsite events.
USD $300: Fee per guest
Unable to attend the Forum? Individuals and Members unable to join us for the entire Forum can register separately for the Protocol Training Workshop and/or the Welcome Reception.

Who is Eligible to Attend and Do I Qualify to Attend?
The Education Forum is a benefit to members of Protocol and Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA), and present and former protocol officers for national/federal governments, state, county and city governments, military, universities and colleges, corporations, international trade organizations, and international diplomatic and goodwill organizations. PDI-POA is an organization for professional protocol officers and is recognized by the United States Department of State. Registration opens May 1st for non-members, especially diplomatic professionals and politically appointed public professionals in the Washington, D.C. area. See above.
