Registration Information
Members and non-members can now register for this year's Forum. Register here.
Registrations received after midnight on Friday, July 16, 2010 will be subject to a $200 late fee. No registrations will be accepted after midnight, Friday, July 23, 2010.
Please note that walk-in registrations will not be accepted. All registrations must be made in advance. Payment must be received prior to the Forum unless other arrangements have been approved by the Registration Chairman.
The Forum Registration Fee includes admission to all general sessions for three days, materials, all receptions, transportation to all Forum events, and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Fees:
members: $585
non-members (government sector): $850
non-members (corporate/private sector): $995
Guests:
Forum participants may bring a guest with them to all meals and the welcome reception only for an additional fee of $385. Please note that at this time we are unable to accommodate guests at the offsite events on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
Payment by credit card:
PDI-POA accepts Visa or MasterCard. For those paying by credit card, if a correct card is not received, processed and cleared within 14 days following registration (or by July 1st, whichever is sooner), your registration will be cancelled.
Payment by check:
If paying by check, the check must be received within 14 days following your online registration (or by July 1st, whichever is sooner). If it is not received within 14 days, your registration will be cancelled and your space will not be confirmed.
There will be a $50 fee for any checks returned by the bank. Registration will not be confirmed until full payment for the Forum is received, including the $50 returned check fee.
Cancellation Policy:
The registration fee will be refunded, minus a $100 cancellation fee, provided that cancellation is received in writing by close of business (COB) July 9, 2010. No refund will be provided after July 9, 2010.
Who is Eligible to Attend and Do I Qualify to Attend?
The Education Forum is a benefit to members of Protocol and Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA), and present and former protocol officers for national/federal governments, state, county and city governments, military, universities and colleges, corporations, international trade organizations, and international diplomatic and goodwill organizations. PDI-POA is an organization for professional protocol officers and is recognized by the United States Department of State. Registration opens May 1st for non-members, especially diplomatic professionals and politically appointed public professionals in the Los Angeles area.
