Membership Information
Membership in Protocol and Diplomacy International - Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA) is open to professionals in the field of protocol who currently serve, or have served in the past, as protocol officers for any level of government (federal/national, state/province, county, city or military) museums or cultural institutions, universities and colleges (public or private), corporations or international trade organizations.
Benefits of membership include discount on the annual conference registration, monthly protocol announcements, member benefits offered by other members, and networking with over 200 protocol professionals around the world.
PDI requires that all candidates for membership fill out the application form and submit a résumé for review by the Membership Committee. Upon acceptance, new members will receive a welcome packet and information from the Membership committee.
Membership Categories and Dues:
Government/Military/Academia/Museums (Public Sector)
USD $150 annual membership
Corporate/Protocol Professionals (Private Sector)
USD $300 annual membership
Application processing fee.
There is a one-time membership application processing fee of USD $50. This will be waived in subsequent years on renewals if the member is in good standing and dues are received prior to the renewal deadline. Membership year is from January 1 - December 31.
