Membership![]() Membership in the Association is open to professionals in the field of protocol who currently serve, or have served in the past, as protocol officers for any level of government (federal/national, state/province, county, city or military, ports or airports, dignitary protection/liaison units in law enforcement agencies, foreign service officers, diplomatic or consular officials), museums or cultural institutions, international corporations, international trade organizations, seats of higher education (public or private), corporations, or other or diplomatic organizations (e.g., United Nations), and those who currently serve, or have served in the past, as professionals in allied professions, organizations, and services. The Association provides advanced training and continuing education programs including the annual International Education Forum. PDI-POA is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, with the support of numerous volunteers and committees working on continuing education and professional development, association events, membership, and communications. The FoundationProtocol & Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA) is registered as a 501(c)(6) organization incorporated in the State of California, United States of America. Any sponsorships — corporate, individual, or otherwise — are not tax deductible as charitable contributions but may be eligible as a professional business expense. |
