What is Protocol?
If you’re involved in any aspect of seating arrangements, program planning, receiving lines, greeting international guests, event management, gift selection or giving, or any allied profession, we welcome you to join our community of experts from around the world.
Protocol is the “system of rules and acceptable behavior used at official ceremonies and occasions” (Cambridge Dictionary). 

Protocol Diplomacy International - Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA) members are professionals who work—or have worked—in building bridges of cultural understanding, hosting high level dignitaries, fostering diplomacy, and related fields. Our members represent government agencies, universities, corporations, cultural institutions, international organizations, and other sectors where respect and honor play an important role.

How to Join

Interested individuals should complete the Membership Application Form and affirm their intent to abide by the Member Code of Ethics. Membership is not considered complete until receipt of membership fee in full. 

Individuals will be notified with a welcome letter within 72 business hours.
