LaDonna Myers

LaDonna L. Myers is founder of Myers & Associates, LLC., a consulting group designed to business engagement strategies to private, public, and non-profit organizations seeking to expand their international acumen and portfolio. Equipped with more than two decades of experience in Strategic Communications, International Protocol, and Business Operations Management, LaDonna’s consult has been sought by senior-military leaders, Fortune 500 executives, universities, and other entrepreneurs, on what she terms as the “Art & Science” of relationship building and soft-power application. She is the co-organizer of the successful 2022 and 2023 World Protocol Matters Online Conference that garnered a global audience, attracting participants and renowned speakers from more than 40 countries. Passionate about the hidden power of protocol, LaDonna first joined PDI-POA in 2012 and is an alumnus of the Protocol School of Washington (PSOW), International School of Protocol and Diplomacy (ISPD), and United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Protocol Course. A native of Detroit, Michigan and proud U.S. Air Force veteran, she holds a graduate degree in Public Administration, Troy University, and bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Public Relations, Madonna University, Livonia, Michigan.

 

Bengt-Arne Hulleman

Graduated from Hotelschool The Hague and holding a Master’s degree from Erasmus University, Bengt-Arne started his career in protocol at the Dutch Royal Household as Policy Assistant to the Grand Master and to the Master of Ceremonies of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands. During the years 2002-2008 he was closely involved in numerous royal and state ceremonies, such as Royal Weddings, State Funerals, Baptisms and many state visits.

Bengt-Arne is also the former Head of the Protocol, Visits and Events Unit of the International Criminal Court in The Hague (2010-2019), an international organisation with over 120 Member states. During his tenure he was responsible for the protocol of the opening ceremony of the Permanent Premises (2016) in attendance of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and many other dignitaries, and the organisation of the events commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the Rome Statute (2018), attended by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, multiple Presidents of National Senates and Parliaments and ministerial delegations.

He is author of The Hague, International City of Peace and Justice: A Relational Network Brand and co-author of Protocol to Manage Relationships Today: Modern Relationship Management Based Upon Traditional Values. Bengt-Arne is now the Executive Director of Protocolbureau. As a protocol expert, he provides assistance in the organisation of high-level events and teaches protocol and international protocol around the world.

Darin Pfeifer

Darin Pfeifer is the Associate Vice President and University Secretary at Drexel University. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, Drexel is a comprehensive global research university and is one of America’s 15 largest private universities. Dr. Pfeifer has a background in hospitality, constituent engagement, and higher education administration. At Drexel he oversees the Offices of the President and University Protocol. He is a graduate of The University of South Dakota, The Protocol School of Washington, and Bay Path University. He has worked in the event and protocol industry for over 20 years. Dr. Pfeifer joined PDI-POA in 2014 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2020.

 

 

 

 

Educational Webinars

Education of protocol professionals is an integral part of the mission of PDI-POA. Webinars are part of our expanding professional development and member engagement opportunities. They include educational presentations by featured speakers, along with a forum for viewers to ask questions of leading experts of protocol and diplomacy. To promote the instructional environment of the webinar, audio and video interaction for attendees is disabled, with interaction happening through the chat and Q&A functions of the Zoom Webinar platform.

Webinars are open at no additional charge to members of PDI-POA as a benefit of membership. Non-members are invited to attend as well; the non-member registration fee is $50 per person.

Each webinar session will be recorded and made available to PDI-POA members through the members-only Video Library. For non-member registrants, the recording will be available for 30 days after the session via a password-protected link that will be shared after the conclusion of the webinar.
