The Protocol Prose Book Club convenes on March 26, 2025 at 12 noon Eastern Daylight Time for a members-only discussion of the book Around the World With Etiquette. About the Book "Around the World with Etiquette" is an amazing collaboration with Etiquette Consultants from more than 20 countries. Whether you are an aspiring traveler or moving to a new country, perhaps have international business partners or have been invited to a wedding abroad, this book is for you! This handbook is about cultural differences, diverse table manners, business etiquette, conversation, weddings and much more for each country featured in the book. About the Authors Born in Poland, Dobrochna has spent her career in notable cities such as London, Milan and Barcelona. She began her work in personal relations and later handled all business matters for prestigious creative studios Macsiotti and Dimore Studio, both based in Milan. While working at these firms, her ability to truly connect with people and understand their needs led Dobrochna to manage teams and coordinate projects and events. Building and maintaining relationships with high profile clients such as Fendi, Pomellato, Aesop, Trussardi was also an important detail of her job. Throughout her career, Dobrochna learned first-hand the value of good manners. She perfectly understands the importance of professional relationships and the value of soft skills as personal qualities that make it easier to connect with people and build trust. Currently living in Barcelona, Dobrochna was inspired to share what she learned and founded Etiquette Now, a consulting firm that offers modern etiquette lessons with practical and accessible courses. As an Etiquette and Social Manners Trainer and Image Consultant, certified at The British School of Etiquette, she dedicates her time to helping professionals and aspiring individuals improve their image, build confidence and develop soft skills to prepare their success in any field. Irma Vartanian is a seasoned Global Leadership and Intercultural Competence Trainer. She conducts trainings demonstrating flexibility in meeting diverse learning needs. Her engaging and dynamic approach ensures that participants actively listen and enjoy valuable learning experiences. Specializing in People Skills for Leaders, and Communication across cultures, Irma has trained Fortune 500 company executives, public sector and government officials and international corporate leaders. Her proficiency lies in refining leadership brand, honing negotiation & communication skills within a global framework, bridging gaps and navigating cultural sensitivities for success. Irma’s knowledge and expertise are supported by a Bachelor’s in Pure Mathematics, an MBA from Imperial College and an MA in Protocol and Soft Diplomacy. She is a Licensed ICQ Global DISC and Growth Zone practitioner; a Certified Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Executive; Cornell Certified for Women in Leadership; and Certified by Harvard Program on Negotiation. A global citizen, based in Montreal, Canada, a keynote speaker, author and columnist, Irma has lived and worked in Europe, the UK, the US and the Middle East. She conducts trainings in English, French, Arabic and Armenian. Irma is the President of SIETAR BC in Canada, currently serves on several international boards with loyalty, integrity, empathy & commitment, and volunteers as a Mentor for emerging women leaders & entrepreneurs.
